Got questions?

We're here to answer all your head lice removal questions!

Head lice can be incredibly stressful for families — from the shock of finding them, to the frustration of failed home remedies, to the worry about getting every last one out. It’s a lot, but you don’t have to manage it alone. At Critter Clinic, our trained professionals know exactly how to handle even the toughest cases with calm, care and expertise, so you can breathe again.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why are head lice so hard to get rid of?

Head lice can be incredibly frustrating to treat at home, and we understand how deflating it feels when you’ve done everything right and they still come back. They move quickly, hide well, and their eggs can be very hard to remove.

At Critter Clinic, we believe it takes a professional to get on top of them properly. Our approach is different: we know exactly how to apply the product, and we use proven techniques and expert comb-out methods to make sure every stage of the lice is removed. Our team is trained to spot what others miss, giving you the best chance of getting rid of head lice once and for all.

What is the cost?
Costs vary depending on hair length and thickness. You can find our price guide on Our Services page. Our staff will always inform you of the cost up front, so no surprises come payment.

How long does it take?
A full service — including application and a thorough comb-out, typically takes between 1 and 1.5 hours, depending on the hair length and thickness.
